There are times when you need color copies and printouts and there's no time to waste. For example, a couple of years ago I happened upon a small expo for an industry related to one I already had a number of clients in. I didn't have any printed marketing material with me but I did have a memory stick with some Photoshop files of brochures and fliers that have done well in converting customers. So I went to a copy center across the street from the hotel where the expo was taking place.
I chose glossy paper for the brochure color copies and thick matte paper for the fliers that had only a few color elements. It took just a few minutes for the staff to get the copying done. Less than 40 minutes after spotting the sign that announced the expo I was back on the road again, having picked up more than a dozen leads thanks to the color copies.
Afterwards it occurred to me that I could have had custom business cards printed and copied for the occasion that could have said something like "We met at the expo" on the back. Oh well, everybody's a genius after the fact.
